We are excited to see the public interest in the FAA launch site operator licensing process demonstrated by the public comment period. The process is working and our residents are being heard. We are grateful for the diligent work of the environmental Sub-Committee, which we created in order to generate public comments related to the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). We are thankful for the community’s support as we continue to follow the direction of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as they lead this process in cooperation with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Park Service (NPS). The FAA is reviewing the comments of the public as a part of the planned process of the EIS. The various topics of interest will be addressed specifically by the forthcoming draft EIS and we look forward to continued input from the public as we move ahead with Spaceport Camden.
